Relevant variable

Quantifiable factor that significantly impacts energy performance and routinely changes, used to normalize EnPIs and baselines.

Also known asstatic factornormalization variable

Relevant variables (production volume, degree-days, occupancy, throughput) explain why energy use changes independently of efficiency. Static factors change rarely (floor area, installed capacity).

In AEYS these variables are columns in Connector Hub canonical mappings and become features for mf-python model training so expected consumption can be predicted for each SEU.
