Energy audit
Systematic inspection and analysis of energy use and consumption of a site, equipment, system or organization to identify energy performance improvement opportunities.
Also known asenergy survey
An energy audit is typically a time-bounded study (often following ISO 50002) that produces findings and recommended actions. It feeds, but is not the same as, the ongoing ISO 50001 energy review.
