CBAM
Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
EU instrument that prices embedded carbon in selected imported goods; in Turkish regulation referred to as SKDM.
Also known asSKDMEU CBAM
CBAM requires reporting (and later purchase of certificates) for embedded emissions in goods such as iron and steel, aluminium, cement, fertilizers, electricity, and hydrogen.
Plant-level energy and process data of the kind AEYS already holds for EnMS — carriers, SEUs, activity totals — is the usual evidence pack for installation-level CBAM reporting.
